My story

          Before yoga

I was always a very self-driven person full with ideas and thoughts. I was a busy Sales and Marketing Manager for years and I never slowed down and actually I didn’t even know how to do it. As it comes with this hyperness, I suffered from bad sleeping. I was thinking about meditation if that would help me to sleep but as you guess I never had time to start it. I was in my own trap.

          New life

An illness made me quit business life for a certain period of time and that time I started to practise yoga and meditation. I found an amazing yoga teacher who introduced yoga, yoga nidra and meditation to me. I was very curious about how yoga and meditation works. Their physical and psychological effects on my body, mind and emotions amazed me and I wanted to understand how it can be. A fantastic new world opened up for me and I was eager to learn. I started to practise on my own at home, meet like-minded people and read many interesting books about it and explore this acient knowledge.

          Teaching Yoga

Then a strong feeling came to my mind that I would like to share this knowledge and experience. I see so many people working too hard, being stressed and anxious and suffering from insomnia and I know they would easily help themselves by practising yoga and meditation. I would like to show people how to slow down and have a relaxed and happier life. I learned to become a yoga teacher from a great guru in India in 2015 spring time at the footprint of the beautiful Himalayas. Ganga Devi runs her own school called Himalayan Yoga Institute.

          Teaching Children Yoga

After business life I started to work with children and I thought it would be great to teach them yoga too and help them to manage their feelings. So during the summer of 2015 I finished a Teaching Yoga and Mindfulness to Children course with the wonderful Jyoti Jo Manuel at her school called Special Yoga Foundation.

          Meditation Teacher

From the very beginning meditation was the main focus of my practise. My mind was always full with thousands of thoughts and it was impossible to make it calm. When I first experienced thoughtlessness I was in heaven. I felt balanced, rooted, peaceful and happy. I would like to show people how they can reach this state of mind so for this I finished a Meditation Teacher Course with Swami Saradananda.

          Recently

I moved back from London in 2017. Besides yoga I started teaching Business English and running my own business, called EnglishHUB. Yoga is part of my everyday life. I consider learning as important as teaching so I finished a course called Spine Therapy with Yoga in 2018 at the Academy of Bene Máté where I learned a spine preventive yoga. Unfortunately most of us have an office job sitting all day so the protection of the spine has an utmost importance.  I also finished a Neuromovement and a Biomechanics courses with Máté in 2022, where we studied the link between neurology and movement such as movement releated pain, or different sensations and how to treat them while on Biomechanics we learned the bones, muscles, tissues movements, let’s say the deep detailed physics of movements.
